R.J. Cavender Joins Dark Regions Press Team as Managing Editor of Horror

We are very excited to announce the addition of R.J. Cavender to the Dark Regions Press team, managing editor of Cutting Block Press and editor of many books and anthologies of horror.  From his popular volumes in the Horror Library series to charitable efforts like the Horror For Good anthology, R.J. has shown dedication and prowess to the horror genre.

R.J. brings an exceptional amount of editing experience that will be invaluable to Dark Regions Press, and he is now our Managing Editor of Horror.  R.J. will be forming new and exciting projects in the realm of horror and bring authors we may not have published before into the DRP fold.

Bio:



R.J. Cavender is an Associate Member of the Horror Writers Association of America and the twice Bram Stoker Award® nominated editor of the +Horror Library+ anthology series from Cutting Block Press. Horror Library IV (co-edited with Boyd E. Harris) won the 2010 reader's choice Black Quill Award from Dark Scribe Magazine in the Best Dark Genre Anthology category.

R.J. is a publishing consultant and co-editor on the Bram Stoker Award nominated Horror For Good: A Charitable Anthology which includes stories by Bram Stoker winning authors Jack Ketchum, Ray Garton, Ramsey Campbell, and Benjamin Kane Ethridge. He is the Resident horror editor at The Editorial Department, managing acquisitions editor at Blood Bound Books, pitch session coordinator for both KillerCon and World Horror Convention, and has worked closely with some of the most talented authors in the horror genre.
